American Revolution Patriots (Easop-Eastwood)


  • Easop, Samuel – Samuel Easop came from the State of Pennsylvania. Samuel Easop held the rank of Private, in the Continental Army. On the Fifth day of October, in 1786, he received a bounty of two hundred acres of land, from the State of Pennsylvania.

  • East, Southy – Southy East came from the State of Virginia. Southy East held the rank or Seaman or Sailor, in the Continental Army. On the Twenty-seventh day of May, in 1832 he received a bounty of one hundred acres of land, from the State of Virginia.
  • Easten, Moses – Moses Easten came from the State of North Carolina. Moses Easten held the rank of Private, in the Continental Army. On the Twenty-sixth day of August, in 1785, Moses Easten’s heirs received a bounty of six hundred and forty acres of land, from the State of North Carolina.

  • Eastman, Ebenezer – Ebenezer Eastman was born in 1746, in the Town of Sanbornton, Belknap County, in the State of New Hampshire. Ebenezer Eastman held the rank of First Lieutenant, in the Continental Army. He was a member of Colonel Poor’s Regiment, for the Town of Sanbornton. His first turn, of service was from the Twenty-third day of May, in 1775 to December of 1775. Ebenezer Eastman died in 1810.

Maine became a separate colony in the 1620’s. From the 1650’s, until 1820, the State of Maine was part of the State of Massachusetts. The people of the State of Maine finally gained the right to have their own state in 1820. Jacob Eastman held the rank of Private, in the Continental Army. On the Eleventh day of April, in 1838, he received a bounty of two hundred acres of land, from the State of Maine.
  • Eastman, Jacob – Jacob Eastman came from the Town of Parsonfield, York County, in the State of Maine. Maine was not a state, in its own right, during the American Revolutionary War. Maine became a separate colony in the 1620’s. From the 1650’s, until 1820, the State of Maine was part of the State of Massachusetts. The people of the State of Maine finally gained the right to have their own state in 1820. When the rank or a soldier is not listed, then the rank is usually that of Private, in the Continental Army. On the Fourteenth day of November, in 1835, he received a bounty of two hundred acres of land, from the State of Maine.
