Then, Moses Fairbanks was a member of Captain Vose’s Company, in defence of the seacoast, in April of 1776. Then, he was a member of Captain Bradley’s Company and Colonel Gill’s Regiment, who marched to Manchester, in Vermont to join the Northern Army, from August to December, in 1777. Moses Fairbanks was, then promoted to Lieutenant, in a detachment for an Expedition to Rhode Island, commanded by Captain John Armstrong and then, he served twenty-seven days, the roll made under the resolve of the Eighth day of May, in 1781. Moses Fairbanks died in 1847.
