Margaret Campbell was born in about 1790, at Salisbury, Rowan County, in the State of North Carolina and died in about 1854, at Carter County, in the State of Missouri. She was the daughter of Joseph Campbell, who was born in about 1835, in the State of North Carolina and Rebecca Chambers, who was born in about 1755, at Iredell County, in the State of North Carolina. Margaret Campbell went by the nickname of Peggy.
Margaret Campbell was married to James Leach, on the Thirteenth day of March, in 1805, at Rowan County, in the State of North Carolina.
