Mary Richmond was born on the Twelfth day of April, in 1785, in the State of Maryland and died in 1860, in the State of Georgia. She was the daughter of Francis Preston Richmond, who was born in 1757, at Frederick, Frederick County, in the State of Maryland and Mary Hancock, who was born in 1761. Mary Richmond used the nickname of Polly.
Mary Richmond was married to John N. Sewell on the Fifth day of November, in 1802, at Rowan county, in the State of North Carolina.
