  • Mansur, Samuel – Samuel Mansur was baptized on the Fourth day of July, in 1742, in the Town of Methuen, Essex County, in the State of Massachusetts. He was mustered into the militia, in the State of Massachusetts. Samuel Mansur was the son of John Mansur. He was married to Sarah Varnum, in 1765.
  • Maxwell, Thompson – Thompson Maxwell came from the Town of Bedford, Middlesex County, in the State of Massachusetts. He served under the command of Captain Lovewell in 1758. Thompson Maxwell reconnoitered from Fort Edward to Fort George. In 1759, he enlisted in Captain Samuel Brewer’s Company. The went with Robert Rogers’ Rangers and destroyed St. Francis. People afterward, were very angry, that Robert Rogers’ Rangers destroyed St. Francis. Captain Samuel Brewer came from Waltham, Massachusetts.
  • McClary, Daniel – Daniel McClary was born on the Second day of December, in 1740, in the Town of Methuen, Essex County, in the State of Massachusetts. He was mustered into the militia, in the State of Massachusetts. When the rank of a soldier is not listed, then the rank is usually that of Private, in the State of the Massachusetts Militia. Daniel McClary was the son of Daniel McClary. We have no additional information, about the life, death, burial, or military service, of Daniel McClary, during or after the French and Indian War.

He was mustered into the militia, in the State of Massachusetts. Timothy Merrick was captured after the surrender of Fort William Henry. He was taken to Canada.

Enoch Merrill died on the Twenty-eighth day of August, in 1778.

He was a member of Robert Rogers’ Rangers and was with the troop, when they destroyed the Indian Village of St. Francis, on the St. Lawrence River, in 1759. Some of his service was from 1758 to 1759.

He died in 1795, in the Town of Lee, Berkshire County, in the State of Massachusetts. Nathaniel Tobey also, fought in the American Revolution.

He was a member of the Robert Rogers’ Rangers, at the Garrisons of Fort Edward and Fort William Henry, from 1755 to 1756. He was part of Burk’s Company. Agrippa Wells was under 20 years old. On the Twenty-fifth of June, in 1757, with Martin and Matthew Severance of Deerfield and William Clark of Colrain, were scouting near Sabbath Day Point, were made prisoners by the Indians and taken to Canada. As customary with the savages, the prisoners upon their arrival at the Indian villages, were compelled to run the gauntlet.
