Paul Lester Knapp was born on the Fourteenth day of July, in 1897, at Springfield, Green County, in the State of Missouri and died on the Sixth day of February, in 1960, at the Veterans Hospital, in Fayetteville, Washington County, in the State of Arkansas. He was the son of Orville Joseph Knapp, who was born on the Sixth day of April, in 1897, at Chesterton, Porter County, in the State of Indiana and Sarah Sabrina Starkey, who was born on the Second day of January, in 1871, at Bois D’ Arc, Greene County, in the State of Missouri.
Paul Lester Knapp was married to Cora Chella Johnson, on the Twenty-ninth day of March, in 1919, at Springfield, Greene County, in the State of Missouri. They were the parents of three children.
