Sarah Luman was born on the Ninth day of May, in 1785 or 1788, in the State of Maryland and died on the Sixteenth day of June, in 1849, at Madison County, in the State of Illinois. She was buried in the Lanterman Cemetery, at Madison County, in the State of Illinois. Sarah Luman was the daughter of Moses Luman, who was born in about 1735, in Allegany County, in the State of Maryland and Sarah Applegate, who was born in about 1836. Sarah Luman used the nickname of Sally.
Sarah Luman was married to David A. Lanterman, on the Fifth day of March, in 1812, at Fleming County, in the State of Kentucky. They were the parents of: Please see David A. Lanterman, in the Families’ Section, for more information.
