Catherine Shropshire was born in September, in 1760, at Rowan County, in the State of North Carolina and died on the Fourteenth day of February, in 1854, at White county, in the State of Tennessee. She was the daughter of Winkfield Shropfield, who was born in about 1710, at Salisbury, Rockingham County, in the State of North Carolina and Jane Jones, who was born in about 1742, in North Carolina, in the State of North Carolina.
